Beat the Heat!!

Frisco moms!! It is supposed to be over 100 degrees for the next few days, and if you are a SAHM, how do you deal with it?

1) Take advantage of the EARLY mornings and evenings. Use this time to go to the pool or playground. Just make sure shade is available to help those who need to rest stay cool.

2) Have movie day. Let each family member pick out a movie and stay in bed and pop some popcorn.

3)Dig into your arts and crafts box and lay everything out on the table and let the kids use their imagination!!

4)Take advantage of indoor playgrounds, like at Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds. Buy drinks and a light snack and you can play on their equipment.

5)Go to the library.

6)Take in an early movie and only pay matinee prices.

Remember, the key is too stay cool and have fun!!

Frisco Safety-Palooza

Frisco Moms!

Frisco Police Force is hosting the First Annual "Frisco Safety-Palooza" tonight at the main station on Stonebrook by the Tollway.

There will be a lot of demonstrations taking place. I don't think we will be going because there might be some things (like an exhibit of trained police dogs attacking 'bad guys") that might scare my girls. But if you have older kids, this might be something to look into for a fun, family-oriented outing.
